Verticutting back nine approaches. We are taking advantage of the back nine being closed to allow for some much needed vertical mowing and aerification. Enclosed pictures show vertical mowing process.
All pipe has been installed on number 10. We have moved on to holes 11 and 12. We have two road bores left to complete on 16 and 17. Attached pictures showing marking and layout of irrigation on holes 13 & 15.
Road bores for holes 10,11, and 12 are complete. We will start on the bores for 13,16, and 18 next week. Irrigation is 90% complete on number 10 and should be finished by Sunday.
Number 10 underground boring complete! The boring process for number 10 is complete and the boring machine has been moved to 11 tees. We have 5 bores to complete to be able to connect the main irrigation line from 10 all the way to 18.
We have started the process of moving pipe and fusing the pipe to be ready for September 18th. If you see pipe along the sides of the road it will be there temporarily until we can move it onto the course.
Irrigation parts-I’m sure everyone has noticed all the truck loads of pipe coming up the mountain this week. So far we have taken delivery of 50,000 of our 55,560 feet (10.5 miles) of pipe for the back nine irrigation project. We have scheduled these deliveries as early as possible to keep terrific interference as low as possible. Thank you for your patience! By the end of next week all pipe, fittings, and parts will be delivered and on-site.
