Mainline going in behind 7 green. This line will tie into the bore under the runway at 5 green to continue the main line to holes 1-5. The bottom picture is a close up of the fusing machine welding two pipes together.
Using a directional boring machine to take an 8 inch hdpe pipe underneath the runway. This will allow more water flow and faster run times in the future. No disruption to runway surface as the pipe is installed 3 to 5 feet below surface.
The irrigation pipe is being delivered to the mountain and transported up to Nettles Cove Road. The fusion or connection of the main line has begun on the road behind #9 tee area. The long sections of pipe will be moved and installed on #9 sometime this week.
We were able to complete our small venting of all 19 greens on Monday. Despite a few off and on showers the process went good. If you look at the first picture you'll see how they looked after they were cleaned up, rolled, and mowed. The greens should be back to normal in a day or so.
